Whats is the Stainless Welded Steel Pipe?

Stainless steel welded pipe is a hollow tubular product manufactured by forming a flat stainless steel strip or plate into a cylindrical shape and joining the edges by welding. Unlike a seamless pipe, it has a longitudinal or spiral weld seam along its length. Key welding processes employed include EFW (Electric Fusion Welding), often used for larger diameter pipes; TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding, favored for high-purity applications and superior weld aesthetics; and Laser welding, which provides precise, narrow welds ideal for thin-walled tubing. These techniques ensure strong, durable weld seams with properties that often approach those of the base material. While seamless tubes are preferred for extremely high-pressure applications, stainless steel welded pipe offers excellent dimensional accuracy, superior surface finishes, and often a more cost-effective solution for a vast array of uses.
